We are looking for a skilled and experienced Software Engineer with expertise in WordPress development to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering principles, coupled with extensive experience in developing and customizing WordPress websites and plugins. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins according to project requirements and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to translate design mockups and requirements into functional WordPress websites.
- Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet client needs, including implementing custom functionality and integrating third-party APIs.
- Perform thorough code reviews and testing to ensure the quality, performance, and security of WordPress solutions.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues with WordPress websites and plugins, and implement timely solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in WordPress development, including new features, tools, and best practices.
- Train and provide consultation to multiple clients on how to use WordPress independently.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on WordPress development.
- Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and MySQL.
- Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, plugins, and APIs.
- Familiarity with responsive and mobile-first web design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Will work ET hours.
