The challenge

We have 5 cross-functional product teams today (which you might know as pods, tribes, etc.). Each team is comprised of Engineers, Engineering Team Leads and Product Designers. Our 3 Product Managers provide support to all of them.
As our product has matured, we plan to build out our product management team in 2024 to provide dedicated 1-1 support for each of the teams.
We are looking for Product Managers with experience building tools to support collaboration, complex workflows and/or content management, with a strong focus on usability.
You will join our Editor team and be responsible for building and refining a core experience of our product, and be directly accountable for a well-defined subset of Juro’s overall product strategy.
To help the world agree more by bringing the right products to market. In this role, that means:
  • You understand the problems we can solve that are highest value for customers.
  • You bring products to market adoption (i.e. people use the products you ship).
Success for you means:
  • ⭐ Adoption, as measured by % of customers using a given feature
  • Inputs to this success metric are:
    • Solid research / understanding of customers
    • Good collaboration with GTM teams to get these measures
    • Creative problem-solving (lowest common denominator to solve the problem with the least amount of work)
Day-to-day, you will:
  • Lead our Editor team focusing on our core editing experience, improving its flexibility, intuitiveness and alignment with the specific requirements of the legal field.
  • Define and execute a compelling product strategy, driven by a deep understanding of the market and the critical jobs of existing and future customers.
  • Draft clear requirements and specifications for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on your product at Juro, collaborating with stakeholders from across the business to develop, prioritise, and secure buy-in for your roadmap.
  • Partner with your Engineering and Design counterparts to deliver a high-quality product in an agile environment, maximising value and minimising waste.
  • Align your team on strategic goals, KPIs, and any impact from cross-team product roadmaps. Contribute to Juro’s planning process, providing input for OKRs that create a clear and measurable direction for your product.
  • Mentor and coach new Product Managers.
Your progression with Juro:
We expect the next natural step for you will be to become a Lead (IC4) Product Manager. We have a Career framework for steady progression at Juro and will support you in whichever path suits you best in your future.

Why join us

If you’re someone who wants to work for a vibrant, successful tech company but worry that most companies with “unicorn” ambitions are…
  • chaotic (= immature operation and prone to over-hiring)
  • fragile (= high cash burn and no profitability)
  • volatile (= vulnerable to market swings and layoffs)
…and therefore often not conducive to building a sustainable career foundation, you should consider Juro. Here’s why (click the ▶️ to reveal more information):
  • Join a tech company committed to sustainable growth.
  • We're in a growth phase that strikes a balance between:
    • Early-stage startups: We’re beyond the chaos, providing stability.
    • Large, multinational software giants: We offer more autonomy, less red tape, more impact, and accelerated growth for high performers.
    • Other UK/EU scale-ups: Our operation is mature, providing a blend of fast yet responsible, sustainable growth.
    • With us, you'll work with a high-performing team guided by our Values & behaviours on a product disrupting the world of contracts.
  • Join a fast-growth startup that pushes autonomous product culture.
  • Based on Juro’s business strategy, each cross-functional product team is truly empowered to set its own goals and drive its own roadmap. We embrace modern product management based on outcome over output and strive to deliver true value to our customers by employing continuous product discovery.
  • The public recognition Juro receives is a result of hard work—showing rather than just telling—and our commitment to making Juro the best workplace. This involves taking concrete steps to become a truly diverse and inclusive environment, investing in a culture of growth, and providing flexibility for everyone, among other initiatives.
  • Like any growing company, we constantly iterate and refine the employee-employer relationship. This includes the benefits we offer, how we give and receive feedback, and creating an environment where all Jurors feel a sense of belonging and can bring their full selves to work.

If you think you have what it takes but don't meet every single point above, please ****still get in touch. We'd love to chat and see if you could be a great fit.
We look for people whose approach to work aligns with our [Values & behaviours](<https://www.notion.so/Values-behaviours-acf77a5d174f427eb46aa3134a206296?pvs=21>). For this role, we particularly value:

Bonus if:
  • You have a background in legal tech or another relevant field.
** What you did is more important than how long you did it. While this range is an orientation for you to understand what the IC3 level means to us, we still want to hear from you if you think you have what it takes but don't quite meet this number (e.g. 2+ years is more akin to IC2 for us).*
