As an Administrative Assistant supporting our Bridges, Highways & Roads (BHR) team in Thunder Bay, you’ll play a key role in enabling leaders and project teams to deliver impactful transportation solutions that serve communities across the region. Your work will support collaboration, accuracy, and efficiency at the heart of our operations.
Your Impact
- Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to senior leadership and the broader Bridges, Highways & Roads team
- Prepare, format, and proofread confidential correspondence, reports, presentations, and meeting materials with a high level of accuracy
- Coordinate meetings, schedules, calendars, travel arrangements, and meeting logistics, including minutes and follow‑ups
- Maintain organized document control systems, filing structures, and confidential records in accordance with WSP standards
- Support project managers through report coordination, deliverable reviews, and client submission tracking
- Respond to inquiries by researching, compiling, and routing information to appropriate stakeholders
- Maintain databases, spreadsheets, and administrative trackers to support operational reporting
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Post‑secondary education in Administration or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
- 3–5 years of progressive experience in an administrative or office support role.
- Proven ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Strong organizational, time‑management, and multitasking skills in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with advanced proofreading and formatting capability.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint, and related office systems
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while adapting to changing priorities and deadlines

Compensation
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $57,500 – $76,200
MB & ON: $52,500 – $72,300
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $52,000 – $69,000
