Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, and results-driven Administrative Estimator to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will provide support to our Sales, Design and Estimating Teams.  You will be supporting and involved with our local, regional, global and vertical market accounts by providing sales and administrative support. What you’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience”

• Draft accurate and professional proposals using standardized Convergint and/or customer templates.
• Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine scope and requirements.
• Assist with and prepare cost estimates for small high volume/low complexity projects.
• Assist with the creation of proposals and estimates for larger, more complex, multi-site projects.
• Assist with project delivery and administration of multiple installation projects throughout their life cycle.
• Collaborate with sales teams to gather project details and ensure proposals meet customer requirements.
• Work with a team to meet specific requirements unique to key accounts and projects.
• Administer project setup in financial system, project management application.
• Act as central information source by maintaining, communicating, and distributing proposal and estimate details in conjunction with company and client requirements.
• Utilize estimating tools and software to calculate basic costs for materials, labor, and overhead.
• Maintain organized records of proposals, project scopes, and customer details for reporting and follow-up purposes.
• Support the sales team by completing quick-turn proposals and ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
• Learn and understand the fundamentals of access control, CCTV, and other physical security systems to produce accurate and competitive estimates.
• Communicate with vendors to gather material pricing as needed.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

• Strong understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Willingness to learn estimating tools, processes, and physical security systems.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and manage multiple small tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with sales and internal teams.
• A proactive mindset with a desire to learn and grow.

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma, associate degree, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum Experience: 1-3 years of experience in sales support, administrative support, estimating, or a related field.

Salary Range: $55,000 to $65,0000
