Angular / Java Full Stack Software Engineer

Full-Stack Engineer (70% Angular / 30% Java)

We’re looking for a highly skilled Full-Stack Engineer to join our team and help build scalable, enterprise-grade solutions that power mission-critical applications. This role is front-end heavy (70% Angular) while also requiring strong back-end skills in Java, REST APIs, and SQL (30%).The ideal candidate has a stable job history, proven experience developing high-volume, commercially viable systems, and preferably a background in Fintech and/or mortgage applications.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the development of responsive SPAs using Angular and modern front-end frameworks.
• Build and maintain reusable UI components that scale across multiple product lines.
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to integrate REST APIs and ensure seamless data flow.
• Contribute to architecture across the full stack, from Angular to Java/SQL.
• Mentor junior engineers and champion best practices in front-end engineering.
• Ensure code quality, performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• 4+ years of Angular (2+) development with mastery of HTML, CSS, ES6, and front-end tooling (NPM, Webpack, etc.).
• 6+ years of Java/J2EE development with strong experience in REST services and SQL/RDBMS.
• Track record of building enterprise-grade, high-volume applications.
• Strong understanding of design patterns, observables, flow control, and error handling.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring JPA/Hibernate, and Spring Security.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Nice to Have

• Previous Fintech or mortgage domain experience.
• Exposure to non-relational databases (Redis, Elasticsearch, etc.).
• Familiarity with DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Terraform.
• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
