Job Summary
Care Management Support Specialists have responsibilities in planning, supporting, overseeing, and evaluating a dynamic scope of tasks within the organization. Care Management Support Specialists work with the goal of boosting economical and efficient performance of the Care Management team while delivering high-quality member and client services.
Provide daily communication to leaders of all divisions within the Care Management department. Answer questions, provide data, oversee specialty reporting through building, maintaining and problem-solving.
What You'll Actually Do
Essential Functions/Responsibilities/Duties
· Perform clerical/administrative duties in the care management department.
· Provide accurate information to internal and external customers (reports, flyers, data collection).
· Review service requests from internal and external customers. Respond accurately and timely.
· Plan, organize and carry out work assignments timely, accurately, and orderly.
· Maintain folders for various projects organized for easy access according to policy.
· Use appropriate judgement in frontline communication regarding departmental or employee concerns.
· Use appropriate judgment in upward communication regarding department or employee concerns.
· Participate in routine meetings and maintain a current task list, shared task list, and/or current projects. If unable to attend, be prepared to listen to anything missed and comprehend information.
· Be able to meet productivity, quality, and turnaround time requirements on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
· Creating, managing and pulling invoices to confirm payment, revenue, and expenses.
· Arrange and manage meetings that may or may not include food services, room arrangements etc.
What You Bring to Our Team
Education and Experience
· High school graduation or equivalent (GED).
· Some college required.
· Associate degree or technical certification preferred
· Prior experience in a medical front office, hospital patient intake or medical claims processing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe products. Data analytics and analysis preferred.
· Experience with power bi, air table, asana, and excel spreadsheets preferred.
· Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask in a fast-paced/deadline driven environment
· Demonstrate ability to work independently with excellent judgment
· Accurate data entry skills (40wpm)
· Knowledge of medical terminology; ICD-10, CPT & HCPCS coding desirable.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Strong customer orientation and interpersonal skills.
· May include all of the above listed items but is not necessarily all inclusive of the job.

Physical Requirements
· Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
· The person in this job needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access office machinery, filing cabinets and meeting facilities.
· Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as copy machine, computer printer, calculator, etc.
· Frequently positions self to maintain files in file cabinets.
· Frequently moves boxes or equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
· Must communicate information and ideas so others understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
· Must be able to observe details at close range.

Compensation: This position offers a base salary range of $15.76 - $19.71 per hour, depending on location, skills, and experience. You're eligible for our full benefits package starting day one.
