Summary of the Position: Contracts Administrator is responsible for coordinating contract negotiation and execution, reviewing external contracts and applying critical thinking skills to apply revisions, and developing contracts/agreements using agency approved templates and language across the organization. This role ensures that all contractual obligations align with organizational goals, funding and operational requirements, and legal standards. The Contracts Administrator collaborates with department and program leadership, finance, legal, HR, Operations, Compliance and external partners to support effective service delivery and risk management. The position supervises staff and manages the centralized contract management system to ensure accurate documentation, tracking, and reporting of all contract-related activities.

Qualifications/Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Legal Studies or related field 
  • Master's Degree is preferred. 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in contract management, preferably in a non-profit or human services setting. 
  • Strong understanding of contract language, regulatory compliance, procurement, and funding requirements. 
  • Current certification or ability to obtain Notary Public authorization 
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with Cobblestone Contract Management system is a plus. 
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite and other computer software systems and databases.
