Coordinator-Work Order Support

As the Coordinator-Work Order Support, you will be responsible for managing orders that are delayed, including those due to facility constraints, missing drops, or lack of Outside Plant (OSP) availabilityYou will focus on enabling service delivery by coordinating across internal and external partners to enable service delivery. You will ensure timely progression of orders, accurate system updates, and proactive communication to support customer installations.

Pay for this position is between $25.13 and $28/hr based on experience.
Responsibilities
Aging Held Order Management orders
- Review daily order queues to identify stalled or at-risk orders.
- Take corrective actions to progress orders, including updating due dates, resolving holds, and assigning appropriate next steps.
- Investigate root causes of order delays (e.g., missing drops, facility constraints, invalid design).
- Maintain accurate order status, notes, and tracking within internal systems.
- Escalate chronic or high-impact aging orders to appropriate teams for resolution.
Unable to Serve orders
- Coordinate with internal partners to determine feasibility, timelines, and required build activities.
- Initiate and track work orders or requests needed to enable service.
- Communicate serviceability updates and expectations to internal stakeholders.
- Ensure proper coding, documentation, and status updates for all Unable to Serve orders.
- Identify trends and recurring gaps in OSP availability and escalate for long-term resolution.
Cross-Functional Coordination & Communication
- Work closely with internal partners to resolve order issues.
- Act as a central point of contact for complex or escalated orders.
- Provide clear and timely updates on order status, risks, and resolutions.
- Partner with vendors and contractors when construction or drop work is required.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce order aging and serviceability issues.
 Reporting & Data Management
- Track and report on aging metrics, backlog volumes, and order counts.
- Maintain documentation and dashboards for leadership visibility.
- Identify trends, process gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Ensure data accuracy across systems and report.
Qualifications
Required Job Qualifications
- Associates degree (or higher) -OR- 2+ years professional work experience.
- 6+ months’ administrative support with internal and external customer experience -OR- current military service or prior military service with honorable discharge.
Other Qualifications
- Understanding of telecommunications provisioning, Outside Plant (OSP), and service delivery processes.
- Experience with internal order management systems and data tracking tools preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive work.
- Ability to analyze order issues and determine appropriate resolution paths.
- Effective communication skills across multiple departments and stakeholders.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
