About the Role:

As part of our Information Communication & Technology Section, you will be an integral part of the team that maintains the continued security and delivery of our core ICT services for the whole of the NLC. Keeping us connected so we can carry on delivering our key services to our constituents in the NLC regions. This position Regularly travels to regional office locations and remote sites to provide service, deployment and maintenance of computer systems and hardware.

What you will Bring:

You’ll be creative, a quick thinker, and someone who can work independently but also collaborate as part of the broader Information communication and Technology team. You will have the ability to apply your experience, knowledge and skills to support the success of the ICT unit by maintaining the security, integrity and operational effectiveness of ICT services, systems and infrastructure.

In addition to this, you will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in service desk environment, with the ability to effectively manage ICT resources and monitor progress through the service desk life cycle to ensure ICT issues are resolved in accordance with Service Level Agreements and timelines.
  • Previous experience in working in Level 1/2 Helpdesk environment, including providing network support, TCP / IP LAN administration, troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  • Technical skills and experience in working with Microsoft Office 365, Entra and Intune and also SCCM, CCM, Citrix, VPN, and ITIL.

  • A base salary of $84,985 per annum plus 15% superannuation and salary sacrificing up to $15,900 + Meal Entertainment and Holiday Accommodation benefit up to $2,650 per year. 
  • Other benefits under our Enterprise Agreement include:
  • District allowance of up to $4,884 (DA2) per annum for individuals with dependents and $2,678 (DA1) without dependents.
  • Generous leave provisions 5 weeks annual leave, leaving loading, 18 days personal leave;
  • Paid Christmas close down;
  • Upon completion of 12 months of service an Annual airfare with a net (in hand) value of $3,177
