DescriptionWe are seeking a proactive D365F&SC Functional Support Consultant to provide proactive & reactive functional support across Finance, Project Management & Accounting, Expense Management, Time Entry, and HCM/Integration issues. The role also includes responsibility for data migration activities using DIEF/DIXF during rollouts and enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day functional support for D365 Finance & PMA modules: GL, AP, AR, FA, Bank, Budgeting, Expense & Timesheet Management, Project Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
- Analyze and work closely with business users to resolve critical issues related to finance transactions, project billing, timesheets, and expense workflows.
- Perform and support data migration activities using DIEF/DIXF:
- Define entities (Vendors, Customers, COA, FA, Projects, Timesheets, Expenses).
- Build templates, map and validate fields, cleanse and transform data.
- Execute import jobs, manage cutover rehearsals, reconcile balances, and document defects.
- Collaborate with technical/integration teams on cross-module and HCM data issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis and recommend process or configuration improvements.
- Prepare SOPs, knowledge base articles, and functional documentation.
- Support UAT/regression testing and ensure SLA-based incident resolution.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 4+ years of functional experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O / AX, focusing on Finance and Project Management & Accounting.
- Strong working knowledge of:
- GL, AP, AR, Bank, Fixed Assets, Expense & Timesheet Management
- PMA module (Project setup, WBS, billing rules, revenue recognition)
- DIEF/DIXF for data migration and reconciliation
- Experience in incident triage, L2/L3 production support, and change request handling.
- Familiar with Azure DevOps, LCS, and ITIL-based ticketing systems/JIRA/Service Now.
- Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and documentation skills.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Commerce, or equivalent field.
Good to Have:
- Exposure to multi-entity / multi-currency environments.
- Working knowledge of Power BI or Management Reporter.
- Microsoft certifications: MB-310 (Finance).
- Basic understanding of HCM integrations and data quality control using DIEF automation or batch scheduling.
