Join the heartbeat of data innovation! As a Database Administrator, you’ll be the go-to expert in powering the systems that keep Providence Health Plan humming across Oregon. From crafting solutions and fine-tuning performance to collaborating with customers, vendors, and tech pros, your role is all about making data work smarter. Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree -OR- a combination of equivalent education and work experience
  • 4 or more years of experience in a related technical field
  • 4 or more years of Information Systems experience
  • 2 or more years of data analysis and/or data administration experience in a relational database environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4 or more years of data analysis and / or data administration experience in a relational database environment
  • Expertise in SQL Server versions 2019 and higher
  • Hands-on experience with T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, and implementing indexing strategies for optimal performance
  • Proven ability to diagnose technical issues, resolve them efficiently, or engaging the appropriate resources
  • Strong communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Designing, implementing, and executing ETL workflows, SSIS packages, and data migration strategies
  • Experience designing and managing Always On Availability Groups and implementing disaster recovery solutions
  • Skilled in designing and documenting functional requirements and technical specifications for new applications

  • California: All Northern California - Except Humboldt: Min: $52.79, Max: $81.94  
  • California: All Southern California: Min: $47.05, Max: $73.04   
  • California: Bakersfield: Min: $45.14, Max: $70.07  
  • Oregon: Non-Portland Service Area: Min: $42.08, Max: $65.32 
  • Oregon: Portland Service Area: Min: $45.14, Max: $70.07  
  • Washington: Western: Min: $47.05, Max: $73.04  
  • Washington: Southwest - Olympia, Centralia: Min: $45.14, Max: $70.07
  • Washington: Clark County: Min: $45.14, Max: $70.07
  • Washington: Eastern: Min: $40.16, Max: $62.35  
  • Washington: Southeastern: Min: $42.08, Max: $65.32
