We are looking for an experienced Director of Marketing with experience in business services marketing, this person will direct and oversee the department both from a digital and product marketing perspective.
The ideal candidate has a solid marketing background and work experience with product marketing, high-end B2B services and/or technology. The Director of Marketing will report directly to the CEO and will oversee the internal marketing team. The Director of Marketing will also participate in the overall marketing strategy development and work with other executives including our CEO on overall company direction.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness and generate MQLs
Oversee direct product marketing efforts
Define the companies positioning in the training and education space
Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness
Responsible for the marketing department’s budget
Set short and long-term goals for internal teams
Work closely with CEO to develop and implement account-based marketing plan
Strategize with cross-functional executive teams to identify and communicate market needs
Prioritize marketing projects and allocate resources accordingly
Prepare regular reports and presentations on marketing metrics for the CEO
Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth
Participate in the annual planning of the company’s objectives
Track competitors’ activities
Work with our chief learning officer on communication with and surveying our customers
Qualifications
2-5 years proven work experience as a Director of Marketing or Head of Marketing with both hands on digital and product marketing disciples
Solid background in B2B marketing.
Experience designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns
Experience with Salesforce, marketing automation (Pardot) and account-based marketing platforms
Strong leadership skills
Excellent communications skills
Strong analytical and project management skills
Strategic mindset, with ability to make challenging decisions
BS degree in Marketing, Communications or relevant field, MBA preferred
Experience in marketing of business services, training and education services preferred
