HR Service Center Rep – PRN

Work location\: Primarily remote and will occasionally attend in person meeting at corporate headquarters (612 E Lamar blvd, Arlington, Texas 76011)

Work hours\: PRN (as needed), hours will be between Monday – Friday from 7am – 5p

Here’s What You Need

  • High School diploma or Equivalent required or
  • Associates or Bachelors degree in human resources, Business administration or relevant field in lieu of experience required
  • 1 year of clerical/administrative, call center, or HR experience without a degree required
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM- CP or SHRM -SCP upon hire preferred
  • Other nationally recognized HR certification upon hire preferred

 

What You Will Do

The Human Resources Service Center (HRSC) Representative is the first point of support for employees contacting the HR Service Center.  The HRSC Representative is responsible for quickly triaging and resolving employee questions and requests through the use of provided system tools and knowledge base.  All questions and requests should be documented accurately and escalated to the appropriate specialist when necessary.

  • Support and demonstrate the customer service expectations and achieve relevant performance metrics. Serve as subject matter expert for employee and manager inquiries to include\: employee data management, payroll, benefits and HR policy and procedures.  Apply documented procedures, policies, and practices to accurately research and respond to calls/cases received. Document transaction and case status to properly indicate stage of completion.  De-escalate situations through the use of effective communication techniques and involve supervisor as necessary.
  • Utilize sound judgment to make appropriate determinations on resolutions needed. Utilize tools and resources to perform responsibilities accurately and efficiently. Escalate requests/issues outside of process or scope for role to HR Specialist.
  • File documents into e-record as received in scan queue accurately and timely. 
  • Maintain appropriate documentation in case notes on discussions completed. Maintain understanding and knowledge of HR policies.
