Snohomish County Central Human Resources is seeking a Project Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our Compensation & Classification team. The Compensation and Classification HRBP serves as a strategic partner and subject matter expert in developing, maintaining, and administering the County’s compensation and classification programs. This role collaborates closely with department leaders, HR colleagues, and union representatives to support workforce planning, job description updates, and compensation analysis.
The successful candidate will have:
Project positions are budgeted through 12/31/2026 but anticipated to continue through the next biennial budget end date of 12/31/2028.

STATEMENT OF ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Bachelor's degree in business or public administration or other discipline directly related to human resources; AND, two (2) years of experience in human resources administration related to designated functions; OR, any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Professional Human Resources certification, such as SHRM-CP, PHR, IPMA-CP, or specialty certification related to assigned functions.
