Human Resources Business Partner
Job Summary
The Human Resources Business Partner plays a pivotal role in our fast-growing firm, shaping an exceptional team-member experience through key programs and touchpoints across the team member’s lifecycle. This role is instrumental in delivering HR solutions that drive business growth and enhance team member engagement by collaborating across functions to implement strategies that continuously improve our work environment based on feedback. The Human Resources Business Partner will partner closely with HR teams across multiple offices, to refine HR service delivery while integrating and sharing best practices.

General Duties:
- Serve as a strategic HR partner and trusted advisor to business leaders, offering guidance on people-related matters.
- Identify HR opportunities and challenges, providing proactive and creative solutions aligned with business priorities.
- Support the implementation of HR strategies that align with short- and long-term business objectives.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing culture by driving team member engagement, accountability, and innovation.
- Provide expertise on HR-related issues, including employee relations, talent acquisition, and performance management.
- Work closely with HR teams across locations to share best practices and streamline processes.
HR Programs & Processes:
- Create a seamless onboarding experience, ensuring new team members are supported from day one.
- Champion continuous learning and professional development for team members.
- Act as the primary HR point of contact for local team members, addressing inquiries and concerns.
- Implement HR programs to enhance team member experience.
- Partner with the recruiting team to attract top talent and enhance the candidate experience.
- Promote a culture of continuous feedback between Generalists and team members.
- Lead workforce planning discussions, incorporating succession planning and leadership development needs.
- Ensure accurate payroll data and maintain HR system integrity.
Employee Relations & Compliance:
- Provide guidance on federal, state, and local employment laws, policies, and best practices.
- Support Generalists with employee relations and performance management, including performance improvement plans.
- Foster team member engagement and retention, proposing strategies to enhance our work environment based on feedback.
Strategic HR Initiatives:
- Partner with leadership to develop and implement programs that enhance effectiveness.
- Work with recruiting, payroll, and finance functions to optimize processes and improve team member experience.
- Drive business unit HR initiatives that support company growth and cultural alignment.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably in a matrixed environment.
- Hands-on, solution-oriented, and proactive approach to HR.
- Strong experience in employee relations, talent management, and compliance.
- HR experience in the Engineering industry is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
- Bachelor's degree Human Resources or related field.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and navigate competing priorities effectively.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Location: Remote
Travel: Up to 5%
Compensation & Benefits:
The expected base salary range for this role is $75,000 - $90,000 USD per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
