Human Resources Coordinator

Classification: Full-Time | Non-Exempt

The Human Resource Coordinator will provide essential support in various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and administrative tasks. This role is instrumental in ensuring smooth HR operations and contributing to a positive employee experience.

Duties + Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate assessments.
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing orientation materials, conducting initial training, and ensuring completion of required paperwork.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HR database and paper files.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, and general information.
  • Coordinate and assist in organizing employee events, workshops, and training sessions.
  • Assist in administering employee benefits programs and liaising with benefits providers.
  • Facilitate the employee offboarding process by conducting exit interviews and ensuring proper documentation.
  • Collaborate with HR team members to implement and communicate HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in monitoring and documenting employee performance, including tracking goals and evaluations.
  • Participate in HR projects as assigned, contributing to process improvements and efficiency.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive HR information and handle employee matters with professionalism.
  • Support HR reporting and data analysis tasks as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

Experience Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in an Administrative role or related experience
  • 1+ year experience in Human Resources. (preferred)

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Ability to work within the time frame of standard policies and procedures. 

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, use repetitive motion, type, and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle and feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to bend, kneel, crouch, climb stairs, and reach overhead. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
