We are seeking a skilled Data Warehouse and Informatica professional to oversee and optimize enterprise data operations in a hybrid cloud environment. The role involves managing ETL pipelines, data integration, and warehouse operations while supporting next-generation cloud-native platforms. You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure seamless data availability, performance tuning, and successful deployment of data solutions. This position is ideal for a proactive individual eager to contribute to cutting-edge data initiatives and drive enterprise-wide analytics success.
Accountabilities:
- Administer and maintain Informatica environments, including PowerCenter, DEI, HA grid, and PowerExchange CDC on Unix/Linux servers.
- Manage ETL processes, data pipelines, modeling, and testing activities to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve ETL job failures and platform issues, ensuring high availability and data integrity.
- Automate administrative tasks using shell scripting, command-line utilities, and other automation tools.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams to optimize performance, capacity, and reliability.
- Configure LDAP, manage users/groups, and enforce access privileges and permissions.
- Support disaster recovery processes and testing to ensure system resiliency.
- Develop monitoring and alerting strategies to enforce SLAs and proactively address potential issues.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 operational support.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
- At least 5 years of experience in managing and administering data tools, ETL, and warehouse platforms.
- Strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, DEI, HA grid, and PowerExchange CDC.
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux shell scripting (Korn, Bourne, Bash) and experience with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Python, or Groovy.
- Solid SQL and PL/SQL skills and experience with data warehouse and mart development.
- Familiarity with modern big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, Cassandra, Presto, or Druid.
- Exposure to observability tools like ELK, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, or Jaeger.
- Understanding of cloud-native platforms, containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), and DevOps practices (CI/CD, Git/GitHub).
- Strong analytical, debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills; able to work effectively across cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
