Your mission
About the Role
We are looking for an IT Systems Engineer to strengthen our cloud-native infrastructure team. In this role, you will design, implement, and operate scalable and secure systems in a fully AWS-based environment. Depending on your seniority, you will either support and grow within our infrastructure landscape or take ownership of architectural decisions and mentor others.
This position is a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. Your Responsibilities
- Design, implement, andoperatecloud infrastructure in AWS
- Manage andoptimize Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker-based containerenvironments
- Build andmaintainscalable, resilient, and secure cloud architectures
- Implement and enhance monitoring and observability solutions (e.g.,DataDogor similar)
- Automate infrastructure and operational processes (Infrastructure as Code, scripting)
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of our systems
- Troubleshoot incidents and continuously improve platform reliability
- Collaborate closely with development and operational support teams
Your profile
Your Profile
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or comparable qualification
- Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker
- Experience with modern monitoring/observability tools (e.g.,DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
- Solid understanding of cloud networking, security, and infrastructure best practices
- Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Bash, Python)
- Experiencedin workingin environmentswith agile working methods such asSAFe.
