Manager, Infrastructure & Server Administrator - Safety

This role will own the reliability, security, and performance of core IT services across our Safety businesses. Lead NOC/monitoring, server and platform operations, backup & disaster recovery, and patch/vulnerability remediation with a close partnership with our corporate resources.

Responsibility: 

• Establish 24x7 alerting, runbooks, and on-call rotations; integrate events with ITSM.
• Partner with corporate for AD/Azure AD, SSO/MFA projects, and privileged access controls.
• Manage Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, storage, and core databases.
• Define RTO/RPO by system, validate backups, and lead DR tests.
• Drive server patching and configuration baselines; partner with Security on vulnerability remediation.
• Track utilization, plan upgrades, and optimize licensing/hosting spend.
• Enforce change control and maintain evidence for audits.
• Oversee MSPs and platform vendors; manage renewals and support cases.
• Hire, coach, and develop system admins/NOC analysts.
• Coordinate with Service Management, Business Applications, PMO, and Digital teams on releases and incident response.

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology preferred
• 7–10+ years of infrastructure/platform experience, including 3+ years leading operations or systems teams.
• Expert knowledge of identity fundamentals (SSO/MFA).
• Strong experience with Windows Server, virtualization, and enterprise backup/restore platforms.
• Automation/scripting proficiency (PowerShell, Bash, or similar).
• Demonstrated success building monitoring/alerting and major-incident processes.
• Familiarity with security operations practices.
• ITIL Foundation or equivalent experience with ITSM tools.

Preferred:

• Experience with Linux, Azure services, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Prior partnership of DR exercises with ERP/WMS/eCommerce group platforms.
• Vendor/MSP management and budgeting responsibility.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, VMware, Veeam, Security+).
