As the Marketing Activation Manager – Export, you will be responsible for localising, executing, and optimising brand activations across our key export markets (e.g., Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East). Working closely with our international sales, marketing, and distributor partners, you will ensure brand consistency while adapting strategies to resonate with local audiences.
This is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone who thrives on turning strategy into reality in markets where brand presence is still emerging.
Marketing Planning & Activation:
Develop and execute annual marketing activation plans in collaboration with distributor partners and internal sales leads, aligning with global brand strategy.
Campaign Localisation:
Adapt and deploy global marketing campaigns for local market relevance, ensuring cultural and channel-specific nuances are considered.
Retail & Trade Marketing:
Design and execute in-market campaigns, POS collateral, and activations (e.g., samplings, events, coffee festivals) to support sales velocity and brand awareness.
Distributor Support:
Partner with distributors to provide brand training, toolkits, and ongoing support to drive aligned execution across retail, foodservice, and on-trade channels.
Event & Sponsorship Management:
Identify and lead brand presence at international trade shows, coffee events, and community activations with partners and baristas.
Performance Analysis:
Track and report on the effectiveness of campaigns and activations, leveraging insights to refine strategy and improve ROI.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with the global marketing team to ensure brand consistency, and with sales to drive commercially relevant marketing support.
Essential:
3–5 years of experience in brand or trade marketing, preferably in FMCG, food & beverage, or lifestyle brands
Proven track record of executing marketing activations in export or international markets
Strong understanding of retail and foodservice marketing tactics
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders (e.g., distributors, agencies, internal teams)
Highly organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working across time zones
Willingness to travel internationally for key activations and partner meetings
Excellent communication and project management skills
Desirable:
Experience in plant-based, natural food/drink, or coffee categories
Familiarity with working in emerging markets or with challenger brands
Knowledge of global compliance around marketing assets and claims
