Production Operations & Support Business Analyst

The Business Analyst in Information Technology serves as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders. This role is responsible for gathering and documenting requirements, analyzing processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting technology initiatives that align with organizational goals. The analyst collaborates across IT and business units to ensure solutions meet user needs, improve efficiency, and adhere to governance standards.

Job Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering & Documentation

• Collect and document business and technical requirements for IT projects and enhancements
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories

Process Analysis & Improvement

• Analyze workflows and identify opportunities for optimization
• Develop and maintain process documentation and SOPs

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

• Act as a liaison between business units and IT teams
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders clearly

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Create reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators
• Use data insights to support decision-making and forecasting

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to organizational standards and regulatory requirements
• Support audit and documentation efforts

Job Requirements:

Experience:

Required:

• 3–5+ years of experience in IT Operations, Production Support, Business Analysis, or similar roles.
• 3-5 years in the Healthcare industry, preferably Payer experience
• Experience creating process documents, requirements, and user stories.
• Ability to analyze operational data, identify trends, and recommend solutions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Pay Range: $79,697.00 - $119,545.00

Pay range may be based on a number of factors including market location, education, responsibilities, experience, etc.
