The Role

Join a team at the forefront of major energy, renewables, mining, and infrastructure projects. As a Project Sales Support professional, you will be a key contributor to the successful delivery of complex logistics solutions for oversized and heavy-lift cargo, working closely with sales teams, project stakeholders, EPCs, OEMs, and project owners.

Your expertise will underpin accurate costings, high-quality tender submissions, and coordinated proposals that meet the technical, scheduling, and HSE demands of large-scale capital projects—directly supporting winning outcomes and long-term client partnerships.

This position can be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane. At Toll we have a hybrid working policy where you can work from home 2 days a week and 3 days a week from site.

As the Project Sales Support, you will:

  • Support Project BDMs and commercial/operations teams with end‑to‑end preparation of quotations, tenders, proposals, and negotiations for complex logistics projects, including RFQs, ITTs, and EPC/OEM bids.
  • Gather, analyse, and consolidate cost inputs; support pricing models, margin analysis, and commercial assumptions to ensure accurate, competitive, and compliant pricing.
  • Coordinate and contribute to tender content, including execution methodologies, scope of work, exclusions, schedules, and transport concepts aligned to technical, HSE, and contractual requirements.
  • Maintain accurate CRM and pipeline data, including opportunity management, compliance, forecasting, status updates, and KPI tracking such as win/loss and GP performance.
  • Produce sales reports, dashboards, and analytics for leadership while supporting internal governance, bid approvals, and sales compliance processes.
  • Ensure proper documentation, record‑keeping, and filing of all commercial and tender records, contributing to audit readiness and ISO compliance activities.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in project logistics freight forwarding or a comparable commercial/support role
  • Strong knowledge of air and ocean freight operations, including pricing structures
  • Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced, project-driven environment
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce, CargoWise, or similar platforms
  • Advanced verbal, written, and analytical skills with a proactive, collaborative working style
  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for commercial analysis, reporting, and presentations
