DescriptionAs part of the Commercial Contracting organization, the Section Manager, Contract Administration/Compliance is responsible for the management of the above mentioned team. The Section Manager supervises a team of 4 Contract Administrators and 1 Analyst, Contract Compliance and oversees the day to day operations of the team, including monitoring compliance with all policies, procedures, and good financial practices, including SOX.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Request and monitor daily report for direct orders on hold 2 x’s per day and distribute to staff.
- Request anniversary and expiration reports 120 in advance of anniversary or expiration date and distribute to staff for processing.
- Monitor that the above contracts have action taken 45 days prior to anniversary or expiration date.
- Monitor the SOX compliance report logs – Chargeback paid activity, Contract amending activity and Direct sales reports.
- Monitor the Contract Admin mailbox consisting of rebills, price requests, customer deactivations, product adds and deletes and contract extensions.
- Track and log all contracts, LOA’s and PO’s received from the sales reps and route to appropriate analyst.
- Review and approve contracts entered by analyst to ensure accuracy and to comply with SOX audits.
- Point person for request and retrieval of archived contracts.
- Notify Compliance Analyst of device shipments.
- Review Compliance statements prior to customer notification.
- Respond to contract compliance inquiries from Commercial Contracting, Sales and/or other entities regarding customers.
- Conduct 1:1’s with all direct reports monthly.
- Conduct team meetings as needed due to staff in both LF and SC.
- Manage and work with the Compliance Analyst with all failure to supply requests.
- Work on special assignments as assigned
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of end-to-end commercial contracting operations management.
- Individual should possess good problem solving skills, the ability to plan, organize and manage a variable workload and meet deadlines with accurate results.
- Must possess good oral and written communication skills.
- Interact with external customers and internally with multiple levels of personnel/management to resolve direct contract pricing issues. Experienced in Model N and other relational databases and database structures.
- Intermediate-Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) is required.
Minimum Qualifications, Education & Experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience required
