Permanent, Full Time (37 hours a week)
Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (4.30pm on Fridays)
3 days in office, 2 days remote working
We are looking for an experienced Senior Employee Relations Partner (HR) to join our dynamic team at Central Services in Fareham, to provide expert HR guidance to the HR team and services.
As Senior Employee Relations Partner you will:
• Advise, coach and train staff members and managers on all human resources matters including policy, process and people management skills where needed
• Manage complex staff relations casework, such as grievances, disciplinaries and long-term absence, liaising with our legal representatives as required
• Ensure knowledge of all human resources policies, work with our HR manager to monitor all human resources policies to ensure up to date in line with current legislation
• Support the HR manager with the human resources process in relation to tenders and TUPE projects, liaising with internal and external parties
• Lead on the maintenance of the human resources system data, using this data to provide and analyse report as needed to inform and improve efficiencies and adherence to policies and procedures
• Provide direct line management for several members of the team
• Support in driving change in the development and implementation and human resources protocols and processes
• Deputise and cover the human resources manager as necessary
• Engage with internal and external contacts and organisations, not only within the human resources field, to network, and have the opportunity to knowledge share and best practice
This role requires:
CIPD qualified, or equivalent qualification through experience
At least 5 years’ experience across all aspects of human resources, particularly with demonstratable expertise of dealing with complex and high risk employee relations issues
Experience of managing and reporting key performance indicators and human resources metrics
Experience of line managing others, ideally in a human resources team
