Senior Managers are responsible for completing the team's assigned work with high quality within the timeframe required. This involves leading teams throughout their day to day activity and decisions within their respective workstreams. They direct the team in such a way that encourages teamwork, motivates team members, and provides controls to ensure the success of the work under development. They have the responsibility for maintenance and enhancement of existing platforms including design decisions, future state workflows, process standardization, identification of data standardization opportunities and implementation of solutions within their assigned area, serve as the primary lead with ownership of the associated deliverables and ensure interdependencies with other workstreams and teams are successfully managed. Responsible for process design and organization design decisions that align to the program and/or departmental goals. Responsible for day to-day activities for their specific track and also serve as the primary liaison with the Director, Project Driver, Domain Leaders, customers, and core domains as well as liaison with other Office of Administrative System Transformation (OAST) leaders and other affected business owners/key stakeholders. Lead and participate in design activities, requirements analysis, documentation, system setup and testing, training, testing, validation, rollout and maintenance. Lead other team members through work task execution and delivery, including deliverable review. Make decisions considering broader business objectives on behalf of enterprise, empower team members to do the same. Work with other Sr. Managers to coordinate interdependencies between workstreams and develop integrated solutions.
Ensure issue tracking and resolution processes are working effectively for respective workstream. Responsible for managing and coaching team members. Ensures communication, change management and training activities are provided timely to the right audiences. Ensure operational resources are identified to complete project and work plan tasks, as well as post-implementation maintenance. Identify potential risks, including to scope, budget, timeline or adherence to guiding principles. Provide routine status updates to facilitate status reporting. Enable team agility to respond to approved changes as directed by leadership. Champion the project and/or department by engaging peers and staff, disseminating consistent messages about the benefits and leading by example. Responsible for function's technical and functional design document and testing, and automations.
Bachelor degree with 3 years of experience or an Associate degree with 7 years of experience.
Ability to support decision making and conflict resolution. Business knowledge and an exceptional understanding of Mayo Clinic's specific institutional knowledge. Previous project or program management experience/skills are preferred. Ability to envision how to work differently and share ideas on how to transform business process and systems to meet the 2030 Bold. Forward goal.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong understanding of HR data domains (e.g., workforce, compensation, time and labor), with experience leveraging Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence, Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM, and UKG Workforce Management. Proven ability to design, govern, and deliver scalable reporting and analytics solutions that drive workforce insights and business decisions. Preferred experience includes leading the development of semantic layers, data pipelines, and enterprise reporting frameworks.
