 A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a confident and innovative Senior People Partner - Support to join a high performing team on a progressive cultural journey. 

Reporting to the General Manager - People, BWS, you will strategically partner with our Support Office leadership teams and will be responsible for BWS-wide initiatives, identifying organisational needs and design innovative, commercially-minded People solutions. 

You will be the pivotal link between the business and our People Centre of Excellence (COEs), driving the effective delivery of talent development, succession planning, organisational design, and complex change management.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

  • Strategically partner with the executive leaders and their respective direct reports, taking accountability for the effective execution and governance of core people processes (e.g., performance reviews, compensation planning, headcount management etc).
  • Implement strategic people initiatives with a commercial mindset and passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Take ownership and partner with key stakeholders to deliver cyclical people plan activity.
  • Utilise team listening and talent data to provide actionable insights to leaders and formulate action plans to address opportunities.
  • Provide advice and coaching on complex people and employment matters.
  • Manage the implementation of people change initiatives, including supporting leaders to deliver and embed change.
  • Build strong partnerships with the People COE’s to support the delivery of the people strategy and other initiatives (Capability Development, Talent, P&R, Team Services).
  • Support leadership development and foster an un-boring culture where leaders are encouraged to Dream Big.

Qualifications

  • Experience operating in fast-paced, ambiguous, and autonomous settings.
  • A demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
  • Strategic, forward-thinking and contemporary in approach.
  • Flexible, adaptable and grounded in a people-first philosophy.
  • Natural coach and collaborator with strong influencing skills.
  • Experienced in retail, drinks and hospitality desirable.
  • Drives performance and outcomes effectively.
  • Inspires and builds diverse teams for future leadership.
  • Demonstrates humility, vulnerability, and celebrates others.
  • Adaptable and innovative mindset, leads through ambiguity, and enables transformation.
