This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Product Designer - Store Fulfillment in the United States.
This role is ideal for an experienced designer passionate about shaping complex, end-to-end operational experiences in retail environments. You will focus on designing intuitive, efficient workflows for in-store fulfillment processes such as picking, packing, staging, and pickup, while partnering across inventory systems to ensure cohesion across touchpoints. The position requires a balance of strategic thinking, human-centered design, and hands-on execution. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, data, and operations, to translate research and insights into actionable design solutions. Additionally, you will mentor other designers, elevate design practices, and help create a culture of design excellence. This role offers an opportunity to influence both product and operational outcomes in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Accountabilities:

    • Lead the design of operational workflows and experiences across store fulfillment and inventory processes.
    • Conduct user research, discovery, and lean experimentation to identify problems and opportunities.
    • Translate insights and stakeholder input into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
    • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business partners to ensure design solutions meet operational and user needs.
    • Mentor and guide junior designers to strengthen craft and alignment across teams.
    • Apply evidence-based methods and data-informed insights to guide design decisions.
    • Participate in sprint planning, stakeholder workshops, and cross-functional collaboration sessions to drive product strategy.
    • Requirements:
    • Advanced expertise in human-centered product design with a portfolio demonstrating complex, operationally focused projects.
    • Proven experience with discovery, research methods, and lean experimentation practices.
    • Strong visual design skills, understanding of usability, accessibility, and design systems.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and balance customer needs with business objectives.
    • Experience mentoring designers and promoting design excellence across teams.
    • Familiarity with software development lifecycle and lean product management principles.
    • Nice to have: experience in retail, inventory management, fulfillment, or operational workflows.
