Accountabilities:
As a Senior UX Designer, you will lead the design and optimization of direct-to-consumer web experiences, ensuring every interaction is intuitive, accessible, and conversion-focused. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, improve customer journeys, and deliver impactful solutions.
- Own UX/UI design execution across web experiences, including subscription flows, checkout journeys, feature enhancements, onboarding experiences, and core product pages.
- Create prototypes and design variations for A/B and multivariate testing initiatives, translating business hypotheses into clear, user-focused experiences.
- Map end-to-end customer journeys to identify friction points, opportunities for improvement, and moments that strengthen engagement and retention.
- Plan and conduct qualitative research activities, including user interviews, usability testing, and concept validation sessions.
- Analyze behavioral insights from user sessions, heatmaps, and funnel data to inform design decisions and prioritize improvements.
- Design experiences that improve customer lifetime value by optimizing trial journeys, reducing purchase friction, and enhancing onboarding and re-engagement flows.
- Maintain and evolve design systems, component libraries, accessibility standards, and consistent UX patterns across digital platforms.
- Partner with product, engineering, creative, and merchandising teams to ensure high-quality implementation and alignment with business goals.
- Improve information architecture, navigation, search, filtering, and product discovery experiences to help users move seamlessly from awareness to purchase.
- Conduct competitive research and stay current with emerging UX trends in eCommerce, subscription products, and consumer technology.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is an experienced UX professional with strong expertise in digital commerce, user research, and scalable product design. You combine creative problem-solving with analytical thinking and can communicate design decisions effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- 5–8 years of UX/UI design experience with a portfolio demonstrating both strong design execution and research-driven processes.
- Proven experience designing eCommerce or direct-to-consumer web experiences, including subscription models, checkout optimization, and commerce-focused user journeys.
- Hands-on experience conducting qualitative research, including planning and moderating interviews, usability studies, and concept tests.
- Advanced proficiency with Figma for design, prototyping, collaboration, and developer handoff.
- Experience maintaining or contributing to shared design systems and component libraries.
- Familiarity with session recording, heatmap, and behavioral analytics tools to uncover customer insights.
- Comfortable using AI-assisted prototyping tools to quickly create and validate interactive experiences.
- Understanding of A/B testing principles and experimentation methodologies.
- Strong systems-thinking mindset with the ability to design reusable patterns while considering the broader customer journey.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present design rationale, research findings, and trade-offs to non-design stakeholders.
- Deep knowledge of responsive and mobile-first web design across multiple devices and environments.
- Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively with product managers, engineers, researchers, and creative teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in User-Centered Design, Interaction Design, Visual Design, or equivalent professional experience.
