The LBS Credentialing Specialist is responsible for credentialing and/or re-credentialing healthcare providers for initial and re-appointment Medical Staff Membership and/or privileges as well as ensuring renewals are completed to maintain compliance.

What we’re looking for
Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, or combination of education and experience required for the job. Additional requirements include:
2+ years of Medical Staff Credentialing and Privileging experience, preferred.
Have a designated workstation in their home free from distractions.
Exhibit a general understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA).
Skilled in the application of policies and procedures.
Knowledge of Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.
Ability to work with mathematical and algebraic concepts such as probability, statistical inference, and forecasting. Ability to apply and analyze concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Frequent use of electronic mail, word processing, data entry, spreadsheets, graphics, etc. Ability to create, maintain and incorporate simple functions into documents, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations to support business objectives.
Regularly uses moderately complex oral and written skills. May train others in functional areas, interact with others and make presentations to department or middle management.
Handle multiple tasks simultaneously with moderate complexity.
Handle multiple projects simultaneously including task delegation, project oversight, and resource allocation.
Salary range: $41,144-$55,545 per year.
