UM Adm Coord Responsibilities:
o Provides non-clinical support for the policies and procedures ensuring best and most appropriate treatment, care or services for members.
o Decisions are typically focused on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments.
o Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing
o Works under minimal direction
o Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion.
Required Qualifications
o 1 or more years administrative, customer service or technical support experience
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills
o Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook in a Windows-based environment and an ability to quickly learn new systems
o Can attend 4-week training process with no absences
Preferred Qualifications
o Proficient utilizing electronic medical record and documentation programs
o Proficient and/or experience with medical terminology and/or ICD-10 codes
o Bachelor's Degree
o Prior member service or customer service telephone experience
o Experience with Utilization Review and/or Prior Authorization, preferably within a managed care organization

Workstyle: Remote Nationwide
Work Hours: 8 – 4:30 EST with occasional weekends as business needs dictate
