Adava Care is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our growing and dynamic team. This role will directly support the President, assist various teams as needed, and help ensure smooth operations across the organization. This is a full-time (30-40 hours), remote position with flexible hours - great opportunity for a college student in the healthcare or a caregiver field.
Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:
- Preserve and organize electronic documentation of records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Provide administrative support to the President, including scheduling, correspondence, and special projects.
- Assist management with event planning, apparel supply orders, and employee appreciation initiatives.
- Research and gather information on companies, suppliers, or venues as needed.
- Contact clients and vendors to initiate or follow up on projects.
- Support other teams with administrative tasks and special projects as required.
- Manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate strong follow-through skills to ensure tasks are completed accurately and timely.
Administrative Assistant Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Experience in the healthcare or caregiver related fields preferred.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong follow-through and ability to prioritize a varied workload.
Work schedule
