Position Summary:
ProcessBarron is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Design Engineer to join our Air Pollution Control (APC) Engineering team. This role is responsible for reviewing incoming APC projects and producing accurate 3D models along with design and fabrication-level drawings. The ideal candidate is proficient in 3D modeling software, understands fabrication practices, and can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. Occasional site visits may be required to gather essential project information.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop 3D models, design drawings, and fabrication-level drawings for APC systems (e.g., baghouses, electrostatic precipitators, spray dryer absorbers).
• Review and interpret drawings from various sources to determine the optimal design solution.
• Apply company-defined procedures for drawing and bill of materials (BOM) release.
• Maintain organized and accurate records of project-specific data in designated project folders.
• Communicate clearly and effectively—both verbally and in writing—regarding project requirements and progress.
• Conduct field visits as needed to gather information essential to project execution.
• Document and file project details according to internal quality and organizational standards.

Required Qualifications:
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software (Inventor preferred; Fusion or SolidWorks acceptable).
• Demonstrated experience creating both design and fabrication-level drawings.
• Familiarity with EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects, especially those involving APC systems.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and consolidate technical information from multiple sources.
• Experience using point cloud data is a plus.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.

• Prior field or fabrication experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of air quality control equipment and systems.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and file management skills.
