Title: Director of School Supports
Position Description
We’re seeking a motivated and mission-aligned Inside Sales Representative to join our high-performing sales team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for identifying and closing new business, expanding existing school and district partnerships, and helping more educators access CharacterStrong’s powerful PreK–12 solutions. As a quota-carrying member of the Inside Sales team, you’ll work closely with our BDR/SDR team for pipeline support and collaborate across Marketing, Customer Success, and Product to deliver a world-class sales experience to schools and districts nationwide.

Director of School Supports Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle from discovery to close for inbound and outbound opportunities
- Qualify leads, run discovery calls, build customized proposals, and present tailored demos
- Drive new business by converting school and district prospects into paying partners
- Expand existing customer relationships by identifying opportunities for additional products or licenses
- Collaborate with BDRs/SDRs to ensure healthy, high-quality pipeline flow
- Manage and update opportunities, activities, and notes consistently in CRM (HubSpot)
- Hit or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas tied to revenue, activity, and pipeline coverage
- Partner with the Sales Manager for coaching, pipeline reviews, and deal strategy
- Facilitate in-person and virtual professional learning for schools utilizing the secondary and elementary curricula and solutions.
- Own pipeline health and accuracy — meet pipeline management expectations, keep proper pipeline hygiene, and ensure all opportunities are properly worked and updated in CRM.
- Work with an assigned Regional Team to strategize each month on which districts to focus on and provide support by reaching out and following up to bring CharacterStrong’s solutions and training resources to districts and/or schools in the region.
- Lead and develop committee demonstrations for schools/districts showcasing CharacterStrong curriculum and various products.
- Present at local, regional, or national level conferences when needed.
- Represent CharacterStrong at various conferences at our vendor booths.
- Identify and recruit key educational leaders for future opportunities to include, but not limited to, conferences, trainings, and podcasts hosted by CharacterStrong.
Other Duties

Required Qualifications
- Preferred 3+ years working in sales, edTech, or other related field
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in education and/or sales
- Inside sales or full-cycle sales experience (EdTech or SaaS preferred)
- Track record of meeting or exceeding quota in a sales role
- Strong consultative selling skills and the ability to tailor messaging to diverse stakeholders
- Experience managing a CRM (HubSpot preferred) and using dashboards to drive your sales process
- Passion for education and belief in the power of social-emotional learning
- Preferred knowledge of the CharacterStrong curriculum
- Preferred experience presenting at a district, state, or national level

Salary & Benefits
- Starting Salary range $75,000 to $95,000 based on experience.
