Growth Marketer
The Lookout WayAbout us
Founded in 2020, the team at The Lookout Way set out to transform how in-home care is delivered in Australia. Born from firsthand experience inside the aged care sector, we created Lookout, a modern SaaS platform built by care, for care.
Lookout helps providers run better businesses and deliver more consistent, high-quality care. Our platform supports operations, workforce management and service delivery, giving providers the clarity and control they need in a sector undergoing once-in-a-generation change.
We’re a small team with big ambition. The opportunity in front of us is significant, and we’re building the commercial engine to match it.
About the role
As our Growth Marketer, your job is simple to describe and not so simple to do: get our sales team in front of more of the right buyers, in the right territories, more often.
Today, most of our pipeline is created the hard way through the grit and persistence of our sales team. You’ll build the marketing engine that changes that.
This is a hands-on, sole-contributor role for someone who lives and breathes growth marketing. You’ll run targeted account-based marketing programs, produce compelling thought leadership content, build automated nurture journeys, support product marketing initiatives and create the systems that move prospects from first touch to sales-ready conversation.
You’ll work closely with the Head of Marketing, Sales, Product and Customer teams. While growth and pipeline generation are your primary focus, you’ll also help support product launches, sales enablement and positioning initiatives when needed.
We’re a small team, which means high autonomy and high accountability. Some weeks you’ll be deep in HubSpot workflows, some weeks sitting alongside a BDM working through priority accounts, and some weeks helping bring a new product launch to market. If that kind of variety excites you, this role will feel like home.
What you’ll be responsible for:
Account-Based Marketing and Territory Support
• Build and run account-based marketing (ABM) programs targeting priority in-home care providers.
• Partner with each BDM to design territory-based campaigns across email, LinkedIn, paid channels and events.
• Develop target account lists, engagement plans and clear marketing-to-sales hand-off processes.
• Track account-level engagement, pipeline contribution and campaign effectiveness, continuously optimising results.
Content and Thought Leadership
• Lead the production of whitepapers, research reports, industry guides and other gated assets that generate inbound demand and establish Lookout as a trusted voice in the sector.
• Develop and manage a content calendar aligned to ABM initiatives, sales priorities and SEO objectives.
• Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and industry partners to create content providers genuinely want to read.
• Use content to power nurture journeys, retargeting campaigns and sales follow-up activity.
Automated Journeys and Lead Qualification
• Build and optimise nurture programs in HubSpot that move prospects from first touch to sales-ready.
• Develop lead scoring, routing and service level agreements with sales to ensure no opportunity falls through the cracks.
• Leverage AI and automation to enrich contact data, personalise communications and qualify leads at scale.
• Continuously test and improve subject lines, messaging, cadence, segmentation and campaign performance.
Events, Webinars and Industry Presence
• Plan and execute webinars, roundtables and industry events that engage priority accounts.
• Work with sales to design coordinated pre-event, event-day and post-event ABM campaigns.
• Represent Lookout at industry events and build relationships with sector bodies, partners and media where appropriate.
Channels, Tools and Reporting
• Own HubSpot as the marketing system of record, ensuring data, workflows and reporting are accurate and trusted.
• Manage LinkedIn, both organic and paid, as a key channel for growth, thought leadership and account engagement.
• Manage the website as a conversion asset, working closely with product marketing on positioning and messaging.
• Use AI tools and automation to improve efficiency, personalisation and campaign performance.
• Own marketing’s contribution to pipeline and revenue, reporting monthly on meaningful commercial outcomes.
Working with Product and Sales
• Partner with product teams on positioning, messaging, campaign themes and sales enablement materials.
• Stay close to the sales team by listening to calls, reviewing customer insights and building campaigns that address real buyer challenges.
• Use campaign and customer data to identify trends, share learnings and continuously improve performance.
Do you have what it takes?
You are a builder and a doer. You’re comfortable starting with a blank page and turning it into a working growth engine. You care deeply about commercial outcomes, not vanity metrics, and you thrive when marketing and sales are tightly aligned.
You’ll bring:
• 5+ years’ experience in B2B SaaS marketing, including at least 2 years in growth, demand generation or ABM-focused roles.
• A proven track record of generating qualified pipeline through account-based marketing, content and lifecycle marketing.
• Strong hands-on HubSpot experience. You can build campaigns, workflows, lists and reports yourself.
• Deep experience using LinkedIn for B2B growth, both organic and paid.
• Confidence creating content and writing your own marketing copy.
• Experience working closely with sales teams and a strong understanding of the connection between marketing, pipeline and revenue.
• A commercial mindset that measures success through business outcomes.
Experience marketing into a niche B2B audience, running ABM programs in a small team, launching a marketing function from scratch, or using AI to scale content and campaign execution will be highly regarded.
Who you are:
• A builder – you’re comfortable creating systems, processes and programs from the ground up.
• A doer – you enjoy being hands-on and executing your own work.
• Commercially minded – you connect everything you do back to pipeline, revenue and growth.
• Curious – you analyse performance, ask questions and continuously test and improve.
• Collaborative – you build strong relationships across sales, product and customer teams.
• Adaptable – you’re happy to jump into different areas and wear multiple hats when needed.
What’s in it for you?
The work we do is meaningful, and the problems we solve matter.
• A competitive salary package that reflects your impact.
• Remote-first work from anywhere in Australia, with offices available for face-to-face collaboration.
• Annual health and wellbeing allowance.
• Generous leave policies that grow with tenure, plus access to Sonder and parental leave benefits.
• The opportunity to build something from the ground up and see your work directly influence company growth.
