Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies for a wide variety of positions from entry level to upper management.
• Provide full-cycle recruitment services to an exceptionally varied group of County Departments including the Health Department, Courts, Sheriff’s Office, and Public Works Department, to name a few.
• Prepare recruitment marketing materials, including social media content, prepare and facilitate the interview process, and complete reference and background checks.
• Attend job fairs to recruit talent.
• Establish relationships with County hiring managers.
• Play a key role in attracting talent from various backgrounds to enhance our workforce.
• May support County Employee and Labor Relations including conducting investigations, drafting corrective action documents and letters of understanding.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Public Administration, Management or related field combined with a minimum of three years of relevant experience. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
• Proven experience in full cycle recruiting and talent sourcing.
• Strong understanding of various recruitment methods and strategies.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state statutes governing the employment relationship, including, but not limited to, FLSA; Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended; Elliot-Larsen Civil Rights Act; Bullard-Plawecki Right to Know Act, etc.
• Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships is key to success in this position.
• High organizational skills are essential.
• Labor and employee relations experience is preferred.
