The Superior Court of California, County of Riverside is seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Human Resources Assistant to join our Human Resources team.

This position plays an important role in supporting employees, supervisors, and Human Resources staff in sensitive and fast-paced areas including performance management, workers’ compensation administration, ADA accommodations, and employee and labor relations support. What You’ll Do

As a Human Resources Assistant, you will provide technical and administrative support in key employee services areas, including:

  • Supporting workers’ compensation administration by maintaining records, coordinating documentation, communicating with employees and supervisors, and assisting with claim-related processes
  • Assisting with ADA accommodation process, including tracking documentation, monitoring deadlines, maintaining confidential records, and preparing correspondence
  • Providing support for performance management and employee and labor relations matters, including maintaining confidential files, coordinating meetings, tracking case documentation, and assisting with disciplinary and grievance-related processes
  • Assisting employees, supervisors, and managers with personnel forms, leave requests, and human resources inquiries
  • Maintaining accurate employee records within HR systems and electronic personnel files
  • Preparing reports, correspondence, and other HR-related documentation
  • Supporting new employee orientation activities
  • Providing exceptional customer service while handling sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion

What We’re Looking For

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping and documentation
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced Human Resources environment

Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree
    AND
  • Two (2) years of increasingly responsible customer service or office support experience, preferably in a Human Resources environment
