Salary: R25 000 (non-negotiable)

 

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Marketing Coordinator / Administrator to support the execution of marketing initiatives while providing administrative and operational assistance across the business.

This hybrid role combines marketing coordination, content management, client communication, reporting, and general administration to ensure the smooth delivery of marketing campaigns and day-to-day business activities.

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys both creative marketing tasks and structured administrative support.

Duties & Responsibilities

Marketing Coordination

  • Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Create, schedule, and manage content across social media platforms.
  • Support email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and promotional activities.
  • Assist with website content updates and basic content management.
  • Coordinate marketing calendars, campaign schedules, and project timelines.
  • Monitor campaign performance and assist with reporting and analytics.
  • Ensure all marketing materials align with brand guidelines and business objectives.

 

Content & Digital Marketing Support

  • Draft and coordinate social media posts, blogs, and marketing communications.
  • Assist with basic graphic design and content creation using Canva or similar platforms.
  • Support lead generation initiatives and digital marketing activities.
  • Maintain marketing assets, content libraries, and promotional materials.
  • Assist with content updates and campaign-related digital tasks.

 

Administrative Support

  • Provide general administrative support to management and internal teams.
  • Manage calendars, meetings, appointments, and scheduling requirements.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and business documentation.
  • Maintain filing systems, databases, and company records.
  • Assist with document preparation, data entry, and operational administration.
  • Send invoices using Xero when required.

 

Client & Stakeholder Communication

  • Make outbound and follow-up calls to clients, prospects, suppliers, or stakeholders when required.
  • Respond to enquiries and ensure timely communication.
  • Coordinate meetings and maintain accurate records of interactions.
  • Support relationship management activities and client engagement initiatives.

 

Reporting & Coordination

  • Maintain accurate records of marketing and administrative activities.
  • Track project progress and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to management.
  • Assist with process improvements and workflow coordination.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 3–5+ years’ experience in a Marketing Coordinator, Marketing Assistant, Administrative Coordinator, Office Administrator, or similar role.
  • Experience supporting marketing campaigns and administrative operations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Professional and confident telephone manner.
  • Experience working in a dual marketing and administrative support role is advantageous.
  • Exposure to social media management, content creation, and digital marketing is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing platforms is advantageous.
  • Experience coordinating client communications and stakeholder engagement is beneficial.
  • Experience working within remote teams or distributed business environments is advantageous.
  • An interest in health and wellness would be beneficial.

 

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace.
  • Experience with Canva or similar design tools.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content scheduling tools.
  • Experience with CRM systems and marketing software is advantageous.
  • Ability to quickly learn new platforms and technologies.
  • Exposure to or willingness to learn tools such as Kit.com, Lovable, ClickFunnels, Zoom, Voxer, WhatsApp, and Xero.
