Marketing Design - *Remote *Remote
Duties & Requirements:
Strategy & Planning
- Own and deliver the monthly content strategy across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, blog, YT and newsletter
- Work 8 weeks ahead on content planning, ensuring alignment with retail moments, campaigns, partnerships, and seasonal activity
- Develop campaign mechanics and briefs, including giveaways, product launches, allergy awareness moments, and retail-linked activations
- Manage Content Creator and Graphic Designer.
- Manage and input into the monthly board pack, providing a clear marketing summary covering content performance, campaign results, partnership activity, and forward planning
Content & Channel Management
- Manage the full content calendar in Later, ensuring all content is scheduled, captioned, and correctly linked ahead of the 24th of each month (minimum 15 unique posts a month on our IG, 2 a day on TikTok, 1 YouTube Short repurposed from TikTok per day, and Founder IG 10–15 per month)
- Write and oversee captions for Instagram company page content (working alongside the content creator on visual production)
- Write and oversee TikTok captions in line with the content creators content output
- Oversee and coordinate the artwork process executed by an external design resource for all brand packaging requirements
- Manage the YouTube channel: native scheduling and upload coordination
- Own/ Create LinkedIn content for the company page — 8 posts per month, including imagery sourced/media creation and uploaded to Later
- Oversee and QA all affiliate content, scheduling and captions
- Run TikTok Ads and Google Ads
- Skilled in AI to be able to make agents and grown brand through productivity researching trends and executing.
Long-Form Content
- Write 2 blog posts per month — keyword-optimised, image-sourced, and uploaded to the website
- Write or oversee 2 newsletters per month, designed in Canva, uploaded to Flodesk, and linked appropriately
Community & Partnerships
- Manage the affiliate marketing pipeline — recruitment, activation, and performance tracking
- Post daily Instagram stories highlighting retail promotions and repost relevant brand / community content on stories
- Lead influencer video coordination — maintaining an active pipeline of 15 confirmed videos per month during active periods
- Lead outreach for community campaigns, including allergy advocacy partnerships and community-specific activations
- Manage partnership development and nurturing, working closely with the founder on inbound and outbound relationships
- Coordinate giveaway execution end-to-end: logistics, outreach, winner management, and content capture
Reporting & Comms
- Manage team and partner email communications on behalf of the brand
- Maintain a weekly pipeline update to the founder covering active workstreams, upcoming deadlines, and any issues requiring sign-off
- Manage the budget that is set out and report monthly, ensuring neither underspending nor overspending
Community Engagement
- Conduct community engagement from the founder's personal Instagram on a daily basis, with the intention of promoting brand launches, trade events, or exposing new people to the brand
- Manage the company email inbox
- Manage customer queries / inbound collaborations
KPIs/Measurement:
Content Output — Content creator creates the content you are responsible for scheduling/ execution etc)
- Instagram brand page: 15 posts per month (minimum 75% video/reels, 25% static, minimum 4 recipe reels), plus daily stories
- Instagram founder page: 12 posts per month
- TikTok: 2 short-form videos per day, 4 live sessions per week (minimum 1 hour each)
- Recipes: 4 published per month
Content Output for other platforms
- LinkedIn: 2 posts per week, published Tuesdays and Thursdays
- Newsletters: 2 per month, sent via Flodesk
- Blogs: 2 published per month
- Founder IG – Create and schedule between 12-15 unique posts a month editing and scheduling ensuring growth.
Community and Engagement
- Social engagement: minimum 15 interactions per day on JP's page (3 days per week) across comments, likes, and influencer DMs
- Affiliate videos on TikTok: 15 per month (7 on TikTok, 6 on Instagram)
- Brand giveaways: 2 per month
- Reviews on retailers/Google: 15 per month
- SkyRate reviews: 20 per month
- All platform engagement metrics to increase month on month (specific targets to be agreed)
Growth
- Newsletter subscriber growth: 800 net new subscribers per month (excluding unsubscribes, measured against baseline)
Campaigns
- Paid campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads) executed and reported against targets
- Campaign-specific KPIs to be agreed monthly
Reporting
- Monthly mailers (for sales) completed
- Monthly board report produced monthly, covering results, learnings, and next steps
- Marketing ROI and engagement performance analysed and reported monthly
Admin and Operations
- Customer DMs, emails, and calls responded to within agreed SLA
- hello@ inbox managed daily
- All content published on time across all platforms
Requirements:
- 3-5 years demonstrable experience in Marketing or Design through degree or work experience/own portfolio.
- Experience in Canva, Illustrator, Photoshop and Adobe (A MUST HAVE)
- Excellent organisation and time management and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A can do attitude!
- Brand Marketing in food business required
- Experience in handling a marketing budget and tracking
- Able to demonstrate an adequate level of digital design skills from projects work to a personal portfolio
- Ability to work reactively and at speed in a quick turnaround environment.
- Experience in using video editing software
- Highly motivated and got the drive to want to achieve superstar results
- Capable of working unsupervised, as well as part of a team
- Ability to supervise and work alongside team members from a remote position
- Strong customer service work ethic ensuring you always deliver on your promises
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel, Word and Outlook
- Willingness to perform tasks as part of a small business outside typical job description to be discussed, eg. Awards nights, trade shows.
- Preferably have experience as a freelancer or have worked remotely before
