The role
We’re looking for a Patient Support Officer to become the first point of contact for our patients and play a key role in shaping a best-in-class support experience. As Hormn continues to grow, this role is critical in ensuring patients feel supported throughout their treatment journey, while allowing our clinical team to focus on delivering high-quality care.
This is a fully remote role suited to someone who is organised, with excellent communication skills, and thrives working independently. In this role, you’ll manage patient communication end-to-end, ensuring a seamless and professional experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the first point of contact for patient enquiries (consultations, payments, medication delivery)
- Providing support for patient portal issues, including basic troubleshooting
- Coordinating with doctors, nurses, and pharmacy partners to resolve queries
- Managing and following up on patient issues through to resolution
- Supporting onboarding of new patients and guiding them through the platform
- Identifying recurring issues and suggesting improvements to processes and communication
- Contributing insights from patient interactions to improve the overall experience
What you will bring
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in a customer support, patient support, or client-facing role
- Experience in healthcare, telehealth, or digital health preferable
- An excellent communicator, particularly in written communication
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks at once
- Comfortable troubleshooting basic technical issues
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
- Empathetic and professional when handling sensitive patient matters
- Proactive, with a mindset for continuous improvement
- You must have reliable internet with a home work set-up
- Must have full-working rights in Australia – no sponsorship options
