Our client, an Am Law 50 firm, is seeking a Procurement Contracts Administrator to join its global procurement team. This role plays a pivotal part in managing, drafting, reviewing, and tracking procurement-related contracts to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely execution across multiple jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will have strong contract administration experience, a solid understanding of procurement and legal terminology, and the ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Draft, review, and redline procurement contracts, NDAs, SOWs, and order forms under the guidance of attorneys, ensuring compliance with firm policies and legal standards.
Manage and maintain the firms contract management system, including tracking renewals, expirations, and deliverables.
Conduct due diligence and risk assessments on contracts to identify potential issues or discrepancies.
Partner with Legal, Finance, Risk, and Procurement Operations teams to facilitate contract execution and ensure seamless implementation.
Serve as a point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding contract processes, templates, and policy questions.
Coordinate with the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) team to monitor compliance with contractual obligations, escalating potential risks or breaches for attorney review.
Prepare and maintain contract summaries, reports, and dashboards for leadership visibility.
Assist in developing, updating, and standardizing contract templates and playbooks to streamline the contracting process.
Maintain proper document storage and ensure compliance with data privacy and protection regulations.
Support the shared services inbox for contract requests and inquiries, ensuring timely response and resolution.
Strong knowledge of contract law, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
Experience redlining contracts and NDAs and adhering to legal playbooks.
Proficiency with contract management software (e.g., DocuSign, ContractWorks) and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration across attorneys, suppliers, and internal teams.
Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field (Paralegal certification a plus).
2+ years of experience in contract administration, ideally within a procurement or professional services environment.
Experience negotiating and coordinating directly with suppliers and vendors.
Familiarity with legal research tools (Westlaw, LexisNexis) and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA, or similar).
Experience working with international contracts or global procurement teams preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
