Candidates must reside in one of the following states: West Virginia, Virginia, Texas, Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Washington D.C., New York, New Jersey, Arizona, North Carolina, Georgia, or South Dakota.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Program Administration Analyst position works through daily reporting to identify activity that is outside of the bank’s expectations of the program in question and investigate the reason behind such activity. Determination is made on what actions must be completed to bring the program in alignment with expectations. Additionally, this role will report department activities to the Monitoring and Oversight Manager as well as other designated team members as applicable, on a regular basis.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Evaluates and determines appropriate action on alerts from a variety of report types by analyzing account/program details and transactional activity to determine if the activity is in accordance with the program use case or warrants further review.
- Assesses cardholder account risk using processor systems, internal search tools, web searches, and queries to make informed judgements about programs attributes and transactional patterns.
- Clears or blocks the account for documentation request, notes the account, and follows up on all blocked accounts until resolution in accordance with bank procedures.
- Completes Unusual Activity Referral forms and submits them to FinCrime Unit or Fraud if necessary, according to department procedures.
- Monitors department email inbox and respond to customer documentation submissions and inquires.
- Analyzes and decides on responses to Visa/MC Fraud Alerts and Safety Net notifications based on assessment and program requirements.
- Determines and manages appropriate documentation and record keeping based on case-specific factors and regulatory compliance needs.
- Resolves customer concerns through outbound and inbound calls by assessing program issues and determining appropriate solutions or escalation paths.
- Identifies improvement opportunities and recommends new or modified monitoring reports by evaluating trends and assessing program-specific needs against program structure and parameters.
EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE
- Associate degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience required.
- 0-2 years of experience in the banking or financial services industry.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- An undergraduate degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- 1-2 years of experience dealing with Credit or Debit card programs.
- Strong working knowledge of the FinTech space.
- Independent critical reasoning.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Team player, able to work effectively in a team-fostered, multi-tasking environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.
