Job Title: Remote Graphic Designer (100% Work From Home) 

Location: Remote from Latin America
 
Position Type: Full-time 
 
Salary: $1,600 - 2,200 USD/month depending on experience paid via Deel or direct transfer
 
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Flexible with 5 hours CT overlap; workday is a typical 8am - 5pm CT

Our client is a real estate development company, architecture studio, and general contractor. They develop, design and build beautiful, resilient, human‐scale places.
 
Job Overview: 
We’re hiring a versatile graphic designer who can translate our client's brand across decks, print, and social. You don’t need decades of experience—strong taste and skills matter more than years. You’ll collaborate directly with the founder and our small team, iterate quickly, and help us ship excellent work.

Responsibilities:

  • Pitch & investment decks: Create clear, visually compelling decks; present numbers and statistics in a design-forward way
  • Marketing collateral: Pamphlets, sell sheets, flyers, brochures, postcards, wayfinding, small and large signs for printing
  • Merch: design t-shirts, hats, mugs, etc, with company branding
  • Digital content: Instagram carousels, YouTube & podcast thumbnails, email/letterhead layouts, simple web graphics.
  • Brand systems: Maintain and evolve brand kits across Building Culture, Apollo, Townsend, and project sub‐brands; enforce consistency.
  • Templates & libraries: Build reusable deck/page/post templates and component libraries.
  • Production: Prep files for print and digital (CMYK/RGB, bleeds, export specs); light vendor coordination.
  • Asset hygiene: Organize Figma/Canva/Adobe files, version control, naming conventions, exports. Organize photo libraries for company-wide use.
  • Light photo editing: Retouching, cut‐outs, color correction, mockups.
  • Optional / nice-to-have: Basic website update capabilities on things like Squarespace (no coding); simple video editing for social, short-form edits, hand-drawn illustrations or iconography.

Qualifications, Skills, and Key Competencies:

  • Taste. Strong eye for typography, hierarchy, spacing, grids, and composition.
  • Deck craft. You can turn complex ideas into simple, persuasive slides and graphics.
  • Branding Creation: great at generating new brands, ideas, and concepts, with high creativity.
  • Tools. Canva, Figma or something similar. Adobe CC (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop). Basic Google Slides/Keynote/PowerPoint when needed.
  • Brand fluency. Consistent systems across print/digital; color and type discipline.
  • Social design. Clear, scroll‐stopping IG carousels and thumbnails that perform without being clickbait.
  • Production basics. Print setup (bleeds, margins, paper), export settings, color profiles.
  • Communication. Clear written and verbal English; receives feedback without ego; collaborates in fast iterations, and keeps manager/team updated.
  • Pace + precision. You can move quickly while keeping file hygiene and details tight.
  • Extreme attention to detail. We are a high-end company and must be incredibly rigorous with all communications and material that goes out.
  • Curious. Need to love learning, experimenting, and expanding your craft.
  • Highly collaborative. Everything we do is collaborative; must enjoy working with people and not take feedback personally – it’s about producing great work together.
  • Love of design. Need to have deep appreciation for design and beauty and its ability to communicate, elevate an experience, and lift the human spirit.
  • Hand Illustration: (diagramming, icons, expressive linework) to bring life to ideas.
Nice‐to‐Haves 
  • Short‐form video editing (Reels/Shorts), simple motion graphics (After Effects or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with the built environment (architecture/urbanism/dev) or a strong curiosity for it.
