About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Generalist to join our HR team. This individual will contribute to a wide range of HR functions, including employee relations, compliance, talent acquisition, employee satisfaction, benefits administration, policy implementation, and business alignment. As a strategic partner and trusted advisor, the Senior HR Generalist will collaborate with leadership and staff to drive a positive work environment and support the organization’s growth and culture.
Responsibilities Include:
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, providing guidance to managers and employees on conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance issues.
Conduct investigations related to complaints, grievances, and workplace concerns and document findings appropriately.
Support the development, implementation, and administration of HR policies, procedures, and programs.
Manage Leave of Absence (LOA) administration and Workers’ Compensation claims.
Lead full-cycle talent acquisition efforts, including job postings, resume screening, interviews, offer letters, onboarding, and candidate experience.
Take ownership of the company’s LinkedIn page, partnering with the marketing team to source and post engaging content.
Administer benefits programs and wellness initiatives
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Support organizational development efforts, including training, performance appraisals, and succession planning.
Generate HR metrics and reports to inform strategic decision-making.
Participate in HR projects and initiatives, including engagement surveys, culture development, and more.
Qualifications Desired:
Bachelor’s degree required (Business or HR-related degree preferred).
5+ years of HR experience required.
Experience in a retail or similar industry is preferred but not required.
Experience in a multi-state environment with a high volume of hourly employees is preferred but not required.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive employee relations matters
Experience with social media (LinkedIn) and employer branding is a plus.
Familiarity with an HRIS platform is required (Paycom is a plus)
