Senior .NET Engineer – Distributed Systems (100% Remote)

A nationally recognized SaaS company is looking for a Senior .NET Engineer to join a core team driving major platform modernization. With 20+ years in the industry and a shift toward distributed architecture, they’re investing heavily in scalable solutions that power real-time operations across the U.S.

$135–150K + 10% Bonus + Benefits
100% Remote (U.S. based)

What You’ll Do:

• Design and build .NET Core APIs within a cloud-first, service-oriented ecosystem
• Architect event-driven systems using Azure Service Bus or similar technologies
• Guide the evolution from monolith to microservices while applying modern design principles
• Contribute to technical strategy and mentor peers as a key engineering voice
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver reliable, mission-critical applications

Requirements:

• 5+ years building scalable .NET Core applications
• Azure experience (App Services, Functions, DevOps, etc.)
• Solid grasp of DDD, SOA, or event-driven architecture patterns
• Strong communication skills and ownership mindset

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, or MassTransit
• CQRS, event sourcing, or distributed messaging background
• Familiarity with actor model tools (e.g., Microsoft Orleans)
