Own the entire social media process for Design Studio Perth and our clients, from planning monthly content calendars and briefing the creative team to writing captions, managing deadlines, securing approvals, scheduling and publishing posts, engaging with audiences and reporting on results.

Since 2020, we’ve worked with more than 300 businesses across industrial, B2B and professional services, from mining services, scaffolding and machinery to law firms and consultancies.

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

We’re looking for a social media manager who combines strong writing, creative thinking and attention to detail with the ability to keep multiple accounts running smoothly.

You’ll brief and direct our videographer, graphic designer and copywriter to turn strategy into standout content, with clear targets so you know what great looks like.

The Role

Lead social media for Design Studio Perth and our clients, from planning and content creation through to approval, publishing and reporting.

Your work will include:

  • Building monthly content calendars for every account and securing approval well ahead of time.

  • Briefing the videographer, graphic designer and copywriter, managing their deadlines and checking their work against the brief.

  • Writing copy and captions that reflect each brand’s voice and messaging.

  • Proofreading every post for spelling, tags, links, dates and brand accuracy before submitting it for approval.

  • Scheduling and publishing approved content, and managing comments and DMs across every account.

  • Reporting results to clients each month in plain language.

  • Running paid campaigns when briefed.

  • Bringing forward content ideas from client work, events and relevant trends.

  • Delivering work on time and flagging any potential delays early.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You’re a strong writer with an instinct for what makes people stop scrolling. You care about the details and catch the wrong tag, broken link or typo before content goes live.

You’re thorough and process-driven. You work to the brief and brand guidelines, ask when something isn’t clear, and take pride in getting it right.

You can keep several accounts and a content team moving at once, with clear communication and consistent follow-through.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • At least two to three years’ experience managing social media, ideally in an agency or across several clients.

  • Hands-on experience with Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook.

  • Experience planning and managing short-form video content.

  • Strong copywriting and proofreading skills.

  • The ability to brief creative team members and manage content deadlines.

  • Confidence reviewing performance and explaining results to clients.

  • Paid social and Canva or Adobe Express experience would be a bonus.
