- Work closely with product teams to turn ambitious objectives into actionable technical solutions.
System Architecture & Development
- Design and build scalable infrastructure capable of handling complex matching algorithms and marketplace operations.
- Drive the creation of AI-integrated features that elevate talent evaluation and matching processes.
- Deliver reliable, maintainable solutions for a worldwide user base.
- Set and promote high standards for system reliability, performance, and maintainability.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with product management to align technology initiatives with business strategy.
- Partner with data science teams to develop and refine AI and machine learning models.

Required Experience & Skills:
- A decade or more of professional experience in software engineering.
- Deep proficiency in Ruby on Rails and React, with a minimum of 10 years in both technologies.
- Strongly preferred: Experience with Python.
- At least 3 years in leadership roles guiding complex technical efforts.
- Expertise in distributed systems and scalable architectural patterns.
- Demonstrated experience in building or expanding marketplace platforms or similarly complex systems.
- Proven history of making impactful technical decisions that shaped product direction.
- Skilled at mentoring engineers and promoting technical growth.
- Solid grasp of artificial intelligence principles and their practical application.
- Exceptional communication abilities, particularly in technical discussions and documentation.
- This position is based in the United States, though the team operates globally.
- Experience with the development of AI/ML platforms.
- Familiarity with talent matching algorithms or recommendation engines.
- Background in large-scale data processing and analytics.
- Knowledge of international compliance and data privacy regulations.
