We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to support infrastructure and systems initiatives across the organization. This role is primarily project-focused, responsible for implementing, improving, and supporting systems and services in partnership with operational owners and cross-functional teams.


The ideal candidate has broad systems administration experience across cloud, virtualized, and endpoint environments and is comfortable working on initiatives such as platform improvements, migrations, upgrades, and security enhancements. This position has long-term ownership of systems and plays a key role in delivering reliable, well-documented solutions that are utilized across the organization. Success in this role will be measured by the quality and timeliness of project delivery, the effectiveness of technical implementations, and collaboration with stakeholders.


What you'll do

  • Assist with integrations, migrations, and mergers & acquisitions.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of systems and infrastructure projects.
  • Implement new services, configurations, and improvements across cloud, server, and endpoint environments. 
  • Support system upgrades, migrations, and platform enhancements.
  • Assist with identity, access, and security-related initiatives as part of approved projects.
  • Provide escalation support for complex infrastructure and systems issues when needed.
  • Collaborate with IT, Engineering, and Security teams to deliver technical solutions.
  • Develop scripts and automation to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Create and maintain clear technical documentation and handoff materials.
  • Follow established change management, security, and operational standards.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux system administration.
  • Experience working with virtualized or cloud-based environments.
  • Working knowledge of identity and access management concepts.
  • Strong working knowledge of Device Management, such as Intune, Jamf, and Jumpcloud. Including endpoint administration and advanced troubleshooting.
  • Admin experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Azure, and AWS.
  • Solid grasp of networking fundamentals (DNS, routing, firewalls, VPNs).
  • Experience with scripting or automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues across multiple platforms.
  • Managing end-to-end projects with timely deliverables. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation: 

Compensation at the time of offer is based on factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of Harbor Compliance’s total compensation package. Other benefits may include health benefits, flexible paid time off, parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k), and educational reimbursement. Note that the salary range and benefits apply only to U.S.-based candidates.
