Paul Claessen Consulting is recruiting on behalf of Design Studio Perth.

SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE (SDR) | DESIGN STUDIO PERTH

Open conversations with WA business owners by phone, LinkedIn and email, qualify prospects and book meetings with our Account Director. You’ll manage the outbound process, from researching businesses and making first contact to following up, maintaining CRM records and reporting on results.

Design Studio Perth is a branding and marketing agency based in Perth, Western Australia, helping established WA businesses grow with confidence. Since 2020, we’ve worked with more than 300 businesses across industrial, B2B and professional services, from mining services, scaffolding and machinery to law firms and consultancies.

We bring brand strategy, messaging, design and marketing together to help businesses stand out and connect with the right clients.

We have a full year of growth planned, and it starts with conversations with the right business owners. You’ll help make those conversations happen.

 

SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE

We’re looking for a confident, disciplined SDR who enjoys opening conversations, follows through consistently and takes ownership of their results.

This is a remote role reporting directly to the agency’s owner. You’ll work alongside an experienced SDR already running outbound every day, with an established process and clear weekly targets.

THE ROLE

Research, contact and qualify prospective clients, then book meetings with our Account Director.

Your work will include:

  • Researching WA businesses that fit our client profile and keeping CRM records accurate.

  • Making around 90 outbound touches a day across calls, LinkedIn and email.

  • Qualifying every lead before booking a meeting with the Account Director.

  • Running email and LinkedIn campaigns and following up every reply.

  • Following through on promised calls, messages and next steps.

  • Tracking response rates, meetings booked and conversion, and submitting reports on time.

  • Learning our services and four-stage method so you can confidently answer a business owner’s initial questions.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You’re motivated by results and have the confidence to pick up the phone to business owners. You can handle rejection, learn from the conversation and keep going.

You’re disciplined. You follow up when you say you will, keep your CRM clean and submit reports before anyone needs to chase you.

You own your numbers, look for ways to improve them and adapt when priorities change.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • At least one to two years’ experience in lead generation or outbound sales.

  • A track record of hitting or exceeding targets.

  • Confidence making cold calls and contacting prospects through LinkedIn and email.

  • Strong verbal and written communication.

  • Accurate CRM management and consistent follow-up.

  • The ability to track your activity and report clearly on results.

  • Experience selling to Australian businesses would be a bonus.
